“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and He will make your paths straight”.(Prov 3: 5-6)
The role of St. Ann’s High School is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students, to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society.
At St. Ann’s, besides being encouraged, appreciated and respecting their individuality, the growth of each individual student is focused. The Management and the staff make sure, that through the education imparted to them, every student experiences a great achievement. This further helps her to graduate as a responsible, resilient and a confident young adult, well prepared to take charge of her future and to give her best contribution for the welfare and the growth of the Society. A lot of efforts are made to make discipline a core value and to develop a sense of responsibility among the students, through a well-planned Academic Schedule, various Inter School competitions and Sports activities.
Like every Academic year, this year too, the School Annual Day was conducted giving opportunity for all the students to participate, from K.G to class 10. This year being the International Year of Languages, Lang – Festa Expressions Enriched, was chosen as theme for the Annual Day. Through every item of the programme, our students explored their talents and their love for indigenous languages, portraying the following message: Indigenous peoples are the native inhabitants of a particular area, country or region; they perpetuate ancient traditions and lifestyles whilst adapting to modernity, all the while maintaining social, cultural, economic and political characteristics distinct from those of the dominant societies they live in.
The School has a well-planned curriculum which also includes co-curricular activities. The School Diary is an important tool of information for the students and the parents. It includes the schedule, rules and regulations of the school, uniform, test schedules, holidays, co-curricular activities and feedback from teachers. The parents are requested to ensure their active participation in all activities.
I feel proud to say that the Management and the team of our experienced teachers are doing their best to give your child the required edge, to make her mark in this global world as a child equipped with the skills, mindset and qualities that will best enable her to strive for better future in the world of tomorrow.
God bless you
